Michigan signs BEAD grant contracts with 17 subgrantee ISPs
The Michigan High-Speed Internet Office executed grant agreements with 17 organizations selected for BEAD funding, clearing the way for permitting and construction. The state expects construction on its BEAD-funded projects to begin this month.

Subgrantees must now maintain ongoing obligations including semiannual/quarterly progress reporting, contractor oversight, procurement compliance, labor and safety plans, and network design certifications as construction and permitting begin.
