NTIA approves all 56 BEAD Final Proposals, completing nationwide approval milestone

NTIA announced it has approved its last BEAD Final Proposal, completing approval of all 56 state and territorial proposals, with Illinois confirmed as the final entity to receive sign-off. Assistant Secretary Arielle Roth marked the milestone with a visit to Moneta, Virginia with Congressman Morgan Griffith to tour BEAD-funded fiber and satellite projects. NTIA says it will now focus on working with states and territories as they oversee BEAD-funded deployment.
