Oregon signs BEAD contract with Douglas Fast Net for $31.6M fiber expansion
Douglas Fast Net (DFN) has been awarded a $31.576 million BEAD contract through the Oregon Broadband Office to expand fiber internet access to 4,490 additional homes in Douglas, Coos, and Lane counties. Combined with $10.418 million in DFN matching funds, the project represents a total investment of more than $41.99 million, with most BEAD projects in Oregon, including this one, expected to begin construction in late 2026.
